1935 Mercedes-Benz 500K, Special Roadster.

The Mercedes-Benz 500K (W 29, 100/160 hp) was one of the greatest performance automobiles of the Thirties. Thirteen months after the debut of the 380, Mercedes-Benz introduced the 500K at the Berlin Auto Show. Both were built in parallel in 1934, but by the close of the year the 500 K stood alone at the top of the Mercedes-Benz catalogue.

Production of the 500K continued for three years, through 1936. In total, there were 342 examples built. 29 were bodied with Roadster and Special Roadster coachwork.

The start of this very talented young mans driving career on Saturday 5th November 2011. He's competing for the 2011/2012 Suzuki Swift Sport Cup. This young rookie showed that he could match it with best in the country, inspite of never racing in the wet. Showed that he will become a fierce competitor as the series progresses.
